I take back every bad thing I ever said about UMass while they were sort of in the MAC. Go UMass!

Game not on my Flo feed......says "out of area" error.

I'm watching it on NESN on my Dish sports pack anyway, but the parents in Perrysburg are PO'd its not working. Guess they watched game one fine.......

BC just way more desperate than UMass.....UMass almost looks disinterested. They just had a PP with not one shot for a team with a 29%PP........sheez.

UMass got ROBBED by a quick whistle, should have tied the game. Still 1-0, 12:02 to go.

2-0 BC 3 minutes to go. This one looks to be not going to go our way. Not real impressed by UMass......as I feared.

Still gonna have to win to be in for sure. BC goalie is playing well fully expect him to do the same tomorrow. They are gonna be a tough out for Northeastern.

UMass literally had 3 open nets in the last couple of minutes and somehow the puck stayed out in all of them. BC starting to look like a team of destiny.

Now UMass takes a dumb penalty to basically end the game.

....yet now BC takes a dumb penalty as well.....so

BC puts the puck in an empty net to seal it. We have to wait until tomorrow to see what happens on the bubble.

To make the tournament, BG needs:

BG win

OR

BG loss, Northeastern win

Either will do the trick, and I'm just praying it actually happens.

Bad: BC still can steal a bid.
Good news: Minn State moves up to #2 in PWR and we move up to 12

BC will be tough out for Northestern. Playing desperate, getting good goaltending and getting the bounces to go their way.

I'd love to play UMass in a 1 vs 4 matchup they look soft as Charmin to me. Got handle pretty easily by a 13 win team.

I've run every possible scenario thru the pairwise predictor. We have two paths to the NCAAs:
Beat Minny State and get auto-bid
Lose that game and Northeastern MUST beat BC.
None of the other games make any diff to our situation.

Just win!

Watch one game and you’re hoping to play UMASS???....not that we couldn’t beat them, but it wouldn’t be a good matchup for the Falcons. UMass has one of the best PPs in the country...we take a lot of penalties and unlike the great majority of WCHA competition, UMASS will make you pay for it. Maybe just get in the tournament first and then worry about it.

I've watched 3 UMass games -- they're better than us but not by a lot. We can hang with them and we have a legit shot to knock them off. IF we somehow manage to get in (your point about getting ahead of ourselves is duly noted), I would much rather play those guys than St. Cloud in Fargo or Duluth in wherever.

The NU/BC game starts an hour before ours so we'll know what we need to do before the 3rd period.
