NCAA Regionals
Re: NCAA Regionals
What you can bring in to PPL Arena:
"The safety of all fans remains a priority for PPL Center. With that in mind, PPL Center requests that guests leave non-essential items at home or in their vehicles. Guests may bring in soft-sided bags and purses that do not exceed 16"x8"x16" in size. Backpacks are not permitted. Drawstring bags are not considered backpacks. All items are subject to security screening prior to entering the building. Special consideration will be made for guests with medical needs and those caring for infants (diaper bags)."
"Cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited. Flash photography, video cameras or any other audio/visual equipment is prohibited unless authorized by team, promoter or artist management. Members of the media on assignment should contact the Marketing Department at 484-273-4459 for photographer's credentials."

Re: NCAA Regionals
Just got an email from the ticket office. I'm taking the upgrade.
Code: Select all
Thank you again for your purchase of NCAA Hockey Tickets!
I wanted to reach out to let you know another section right next to the BGSU Sections has become available to us. It is one section closer to mid-ice but it is $12 more for the All Session pass per ticket. Currently you paid $68.50 for a ticket and it would be instead $80.50 for a ticket. I wanted to make this upgrade available to you and if you are interested feel free to respond to this e-mail confirming you would like to upgrade and I’d be happy to charge the card you just used the additional $12 per ticket.
Thank you again and please let me know if you have any further questions.2-time BGSU Intramural Curling Champion.

Great! I bought Saturday tickets last night in 103. We've got 7 people in our group that will be cheering for BG!

Safe travels to everyone going to PA. Wish I could make it but I've been down for the count with the flu bug all week.

If driving make sure you have some cash on hand or EZPASS for the toll roads. Not cheap to drive in PA.
Re: NCAA Regionals
Very true, even though you're exiting at Carlisle and taking I-78 to Allentown.MajorFalcon92 wrote:If driving make sure you have some cash on hand or EZPASS for the toll roads. Not cheap to drive in PA.
Option is staying on I-80 and taking Route 322 (by State College) SE to I-78.
Or, I-80 all the way to 476 & south into Allentown. 476 is a toll but only about 42 mile drive. 80 is not as winding as the turnpike either.
Anyone with time, I'd recommend downtown Bethlehem and https://thebrewworks.com/. Both worth a visit.

Big day tomorrow. BG hockey in the NCAA tournament for the first time in decades followed by Purdue basketball vs UVA with the Final Four on the line. My MS is from Purdue and my wife is a UVA alum.

When I booked my flight from ORD to Allentown there were 9 empty seats. That plane filled up so United got a bigger plane which apparently has also filled up. I’ve seen some BG and UMD colors in the gate area.

I am practically in tears that we can't make it to Allentown this weekend.
A combination of business and family obligations make it simply impossible.
Roll along.

St. Cloud State's seniors graduate with 102 wins, 3 NCAA tournament appearances, and absolutely no NCAA tournament wins.
Wow.
