Incoming recruit Erik Marschall from New London HS is the NW Ohio D III Player of the Year. Probably a precursor to being first team D III All-Ohio when that comes out in a couple weeks. Archbold's Dan Borcherdt shared the honor with Marschall. Borcherdt was at the BG- Miami game Sunday and was talking to some BG people.
I have no idea if Borcherdt (senior scoring point guard) has announced his college plans. I continue to hear that Marschall may be able to help us as a freshman. Averaged 18.3. 6' 7" and plays for his father I believe.

If he's from Archbold, I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up here at Bluffton if he does go D-3. There's a pretty solid pipeline to the Beavers from that neighborhood.Tswam wrote:falconfan1:
Borcherdt hasn't committed to any college. He projects as an outstanding Division 3 player and could end up going Division 2.

He does play for his father, and his sister has been known to post on here from time to time.
