BG football hasn't had a winning record - at any point in a season - since 2015. That would be 4 seasons ago. Let that sink in for a minute....

The best record Jinks ever had was .500 after a last second win over North Dakota in 2016. Of course it wasn't really his fault that his season openers were against OSU, MSU, and Oregon.

We haven't opened a season 1-0 since 2013.

It doesn't matter the opponent - getting off on the right foot is very important to me, and it's something I think we should take very seriously. By 1 or 100, we absolutely need to win this game, and I would prefer to do it comfortably.
