It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Anyone who sees practices, I would love a report. Things I especially care about ...
- QB play. Who is getting snaps, how are they doing
- offensive line. O line has been wildly inconsistent since the start of the 2016 season. The offense will go as far as the offensive line will let them. RBs and WRs will be fine IMO.
- defensive line, especially interior. That is the biggest weak point on the team I think after transfers gutted the depth. Who is stepping up and what is the depth?
- secondary. Also lots of new faces there
- general level of practice. Does it feel like the intensity and focus of a Clawson practice? The speed of a Babers practice? Are the players taking in what the coaches say?

Hopefully someone will be able to provide practice updates.

Only one I know open is 8-10 for season ticket holders. I will be attending that one.

Any idea what time that one will be? I go every year but haven't heard any details for this year.

Looks like some media were at today's first practice. Hope to hear some news later today about the plan at QB and any positional battles.

Updates from Nick Piotrowicz (@NickPBlade):

Some updates on practice today:
First, at QB, Loeffler said the plan is to mix reps among the 3 guys. Each guy will have full periods or even entire days with the first team, but Loeffler wants to keep reps even during camp to let them "compete like hell."

In Darius Wade's case, Loeffler said Wade already knows most of the offense. The offense's phrasing, concepts, etc. have carryover from what he ran at BC. Biggest thing is timing because he literally just met his WRs.

The defense had the better of the skeleton drill. I saw Brandon Perce, Davin Wilson, and Jerry McBride all pick off passes. McBride would've housed it for sure.

Lot of offensive mistakes you'd expect for Day 1. Loeffler said two of the picks were due to a WR running the wrong route, another just a bad read. For the most part, though, he said the 3 QBs knew where to go with the ball.

It's looking a lot like Evan Brown is going to have a big role on this team. He's athletic enough to play just about anywhere, but they seem to like what he's shown at LB so far.

BG athletics just posted the following interview...

It is so refreshing to hear the media ask actual questions and the football coach give an actual answer rather than "have to look at the game film" or "have to put players in the best position to win". I don't know how this season will go and Loeffler doesn't sound the most optimistic but I sure like him as a coach.
