Who all do we have to replace after this coming season? Laster, Frye, and Sierra come to mind. Possible that Ethan Good graduating opens a scholarship?
Yes, those three. Plus whoever is a casualty of Swingle coming in. I think Swingle coming in means Good doesn't have a scholarship.
13 Scholarships:
20': 1. Frye 2. Laster 3. Sierra
21': 4. Turner 5. Diggs 6. Plowden 7. Gadsen
22': 8. Fields 9. Kulackovskis 10. Swingle 11. Mattos
23: 12. Zeigler 13. Turner
I would be shocked if we enter the 20-21 season with Swingle, Mattos, and Gadsen all on the roster. And of course, there is Turner and his final year of eligibility...

I think next season could very well be Turner's last at BG, as well. If he has an even better season, he really might turn pro for good (G League salaries are going up and I could see him having a legit shot at a two-way contract) or grad transfer to a national title contender. Obviously don't want to see this, but I wouldn't blame him for doing either.

I was treating this like a no-hitter situation where if I didn't say it I wouldn't jinx it. Thanks man, you blew it.

I think it depends quite a bit on how good Swingle, Zeigler and C Turner are and how close he is to guys like D Plowden. If they are good, and he has tight relationships, then the team won't miss a beat. It's possible that J Turner could go down as the all time leading scorer in BG history playing for a coaching staff he is connected to and a team he loves to play with. The NBA will find him. We saw a guy leave Ohio to go play at I think Michigan State and he went from a MAC leading scorer to an end of the bench guy.

#7 player in Ohio, offers from Xavier, Duquesne, and Miami.

This would be a great get.

Sorry if this was already mentioned but...Per his twitter feed we offered 2019 PG Jamir Reed from Philly a couple of days ago. That's an interesting tidbit...maybe Turner doesn't plan on coming back or someone else is leaving (grades are coming out soon...academic casualty?)

One of the Twitter feeds on VC says Reed is going the Prep School route next year.

New offer out to Josiah Fulcher from one of the Pickeringtons. Rising senior PG who was conference player of the year this past season and has a handful of offers from other MAC and Horizon programs.https://www.verbalcommits.com/players/josiah-fulcher

He used to play for Pick Central. He transferred to Lima Senior last year. He was co TRAC player of the year last season along with none other than Ed Colbert III. Lima got beat in the regional final by Akron SVSM.

Clearly I didn't do much research. Thanks for doing the background work.

Time for my own prognostications on the BG VerbalCommits offers still left. 7 players are now on the list after Luka Eller committed to Miami this week. I am fully eliminating Cameron Young who has a ton of offers. Bowen Born is likely going to one of the Iowa schools or Indiana State. There is a lot of competition for PG Kaden Metheny so I am marking him as Doubtful. Big C Jerimiah Coleman's advisors seem to think he is better than the two offers he has includeing BG so probably not. That leaves 3 players who I think we have a decent shot at: PG Josiah Fulcher played at Lima Senior so he is relatively local. He has a number of mid-major and MAC offers but I think the PG position at BG would only be he and Fields when arriving in 2020-21. VonCameron Davis has included BG in his final 5. I think he fits well at Ohio but we are apparently in a strong mix of Ohio MAC schools + Wright State. That leaves Raheim Moss who sports only two offers--BG and Cincy. I will rate this as less than 50% for if Cincy wants him they likely will get him. Just my 2 cents.

I would only offer him if he has a teammate named Rahn Lewis that he wants to bring with him.
