When we just ran the ball we gained yards. When we tried to do fancy runs we lost yards. Just line up and run.

Clair has a minor injury.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

Boy this is embarrassing.

This is what it looks like when G5 schools play P5 schools, 99 times out of 100.
We’ll be okay. We have to keep working. Don’t give up on Loeffler because of this game.

Nobody is giving up on the coach. I just question the gadget plays when traditional plays are gaining yards.mbenecke wrote:This is what it looks like when G5 schools play P5 schools, 99 times out of 100.

Yeah, the offense has been pretty embarrassing. Hard to blame the defense when they haven’t gotten more than 5 seconds to catch a breath.footballguy51 wrote:Nobody is giving up on the coach. You may not be aware of Bowling Green's record against P5. We've actually won about 30% of the time - maybe more. Don't tell that to Georgia State last week or Army today. If you don't want to compete against P5 go petition for us to join
1AA or Division 2. Personally, I like us playing at least 1 a year.
Reality has set in, this is a 2-3 year project, and I believe in Coach Loeffler, but he's no Urban Meyer.

Bit of an exaggeration there. 99/100. No

Had they forced a single punt I'd agree with that.drumstix2388 wrote:Hard to blame the defense when they haven’t gotten more than 5 seconds to catch a breath.

Yeah, I should clarify that I don’t think they’re blameless, but just that I place more of the blame on the offense.Critical Thinker wrote:Had they forced a single punt I'd agree with that.drumstix2388 wrote:Hard to blame the defense when they haven’t gotten more than 5 seconds to catch a breath.

We have our win this year. Looking forward to growth but I think that is it for this year. I’m all in no with this coach though. We will be back!
Re: Looking forward to Kansas State
I understand the sentiment here. I’m just saying, we were probably never going to win this game. I’m not trying to insult anyone for anything. They’re just deeper and more talented than we are. I’m just asking people to keep in mind that it’s two different levels of football when they look at the score in this one.
A loss here doesn’t preclude us from competing in the MAC. It also doesn’t crush my excitement for the future of this program. That’s all.
