Defense has been playing well aside from the big pass. Offensively, it seems every pass either Wade throws an errant pass or Morris drops it. Just out of sync. LA Tech is focusing on our run because they know the pass is the lesser concern.

Offense has to get in sync. These short drives will eventually hurt the defense.

Didn't score ... and now L Tech is in position to make it two possessions.

I seriously question the play calling right now.

Neither team looks very well prepared. Lot of broken plays. Don’t really see the point in playing Wade. He isn’t dynamic enough with his feet to make up for his poor passing.

Anemic offense coupled with a QB who sucks is a recipe for getting blown out.

The stats show Clair made one carry at the goal line. That makes no sense. Did that really happen?

I can't read the coaches mind but perhaps he considers non MAC games as practice (this year). A chip shot field goal isn't worth the practice. A goal line snap is, with the assumption La Tech is pinned on their goal line if it fails. :?

What are the chances Wade improves his timing and accuracy as the season goes on? He's missed a lot of opportunities. And he's got some serious happy feet, which isn't really helping.

At this point, I'm beginning to think this is what we have. He almost got Jordan Wayne-Prather killed near the end of the half by throwing at him way too high, leaving him open for a pretty tough hit over the middle.

Our defense looks better than it has in years. We just can't seem to pass the ball, though, and I don't see a solution. It's a bummer. There are bright spots on this team.

If this is the quality we have at QB, this season may be really long.

I feel like the defense deserves all kinds of credit. They are playing very well, especially considering they are being put on the field repeatedly after short possessions.

Damn. Came away with nothing.

But give credit. That was a good looking drive. Wade made some big throws. It is the best he's looked.

But man. Two times in front of the end zone with no points. This could be an 8 point game. I have been questioning a lot of play calling so far.

It sure was a good looking drive. It's like we have a new Darius Wade this half.

We finally converted a fourth down now. I guess coach is thinking: Tech is better, so let's go for it when we have a chance. Obviously, in retrospect, it would be nice to have field goals. But I'm not upset about these calls.

Comedy of errors football. This game was for the taking with a competent offense.
