Parking Pass Question
Parking Pass Question
I know this subject was brought up in an earlier post. However, I could not locate it. I renewed our season tickets for this upcoming year and they no longer offer a parking pass at a reasonable cost. It is my understanding now that you must be a Falcon Club member to have access to the Ice Arena lot, or pay for each individual game. This is an unrealistic expectation to have for your season ticket holders and was wondering if any of you had any advise on the matter? Who should I contact to make my complaints heard? Does anyone out there have any direct contact information that may be useful to us. Thank you for your help.
Re: Parking Pass Question
It's a way for them to artificially inflate their Falcon Club membership numbers. It's cheaper to join the Falcon Club at the lowest level than it is to pay for parking if you make all home games.
I would start with the ticket office and just keep calling from there.

You could contact Falcon Club staff, too: https://bgsufalcons.com/staff.aspx" target="_blank
There's also a 'contact us' form that has a parking option: https://bgsufalcons.com/sb_output.aspx?form=52" target="_blank
I think per-game parking is still $5... at the fieldhouse

Or you could help out the University and send Moose the $125...

Re: Parking Pass Question
"Back in the day", you had to join the Falcon Club in order to buy season tickets.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
Re: Parking Pass Question
I just don’t like the idea of paying $190 for tickets and $125 to park. Just seems like a crappy thing to do to your season ticket holders. If I have to pay $125 to park after buying season tickets I might just need to take my support somewhere else.
Re: Parking Pass Question
It's the newest fundraising model. Instead of growing your season ticket fan base, just charge the ones you already have more.cakruke wrote:I just don’t like the idea of paying $190 for tickets and $125 to park. Re: Parking Pass Question
OK, I renewed my season tickets back in July.
On Sept 9 I finally submitted to the blackmail and re-joined the Falcon Club.
While on the phone I specifically asked "will my parking pass arrive in the same package as my season tickets?"
The answer was a definite "YES"
Today my tickets arrived...guess what?
No parking pass.
Why am I not surprised?

My packet arrived today and the pass was included. Maybe it’s hit or miss?Freddie wrote:OK, I renewed my season tickets back in July.

But now I'm even more concerned why I didn't get mine.

Re: Parking Pass Question
Signed my kid up for Falcon Kids Club at the end of August. Spent the EXTRA $7 to have the packet mailed to us. The week of the first home football game, I got an email saying we could pick it up in the Sebo on game day. Took another week and a half to be mailed. It wasn't mailed until I sent an email voicing my displeasure (no response to the email.)Freddie wrote:OK, I renewed my season tickets back in July.

It is amazing what Scott Bressler and Becky Meek did with half as many people and no computers. They were 100X faster and competent than our ticket office has been since Scott retired!

Scott is BGSU HOF worthy in my opinion.factman wrote:It is amazing what Scott Bressler and Becky Meek did with half as many people and no computers. They were 100X faster and competent than our ticket office has been since Scott retired!
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.
