Yeah the final was ugly. Really ugly. And this is the worst case scenario I considered early in the season. And this is squarely on the previous coaching staff who completely mismanaged the program every step of the way.
I had patience with Clawson because I knew his background and could see progress. And so I will have patience with Loeffler. This will be a year you have to throw out the results entirely. Hopefully in 2020 we will see some amount of progress but realistically I don't expect to be competitive until 2021.
Bill Connelly's previews often talked about the third year for a coach being when things come together ... or fall apart. Brandon's third year was 2005, when BG was picked by everyone to win the conference and instead the floor fell out. Clawson's third year was 2011, when the team improved by three wins and showed some good signs in most games. Jinks' third year was last year when it became evident that the program was only regressing. As much as I hate to say it, we're all just going to have to wait. Until then ... support the team and donate to the Falcon Club.
Maybe you can volunteer to assist the Strength and Conditioning Staff to speed up the rebuild....I’m sure the players will be motivated by your Bench Press Numbers!

This guy has been polluting the hockey threads for awhile. Once I put him on block my outlook on this board improved dramatically. I question whether he's even a BG guy.

Yep...if someone insists on being an ass..just block them. Don't feed them by responding, it only gives them what they want.

When I was a mod I would nuke posts like that and if the person persisted in being a jerk, I would edit all their posts to read "I am a slow learner"

To be honest I hadn't even noticed any of the posts for a while thanks to the block feature due to antics on the hockey forum. Appreciate folks calling out this kind of nonsense. Apparently I've got a stalker on AZZ these days, which is a bit weird ...

Such a sensitive group....wish you guys knew a little about college athletics. Outside of a couple posters, it’s probably about as uneducated a message board as you can get. I’m sure that’s a big part why anyone hardly posts anymore.

You don't even post about college athletics in 75% of your posts. You just make fun of what other people say. I've worked in and around college athletics professionally for the last 9 or so years, so it is in my professional opinion that you're an idiot.
