Loy is a big, talented kid and he's 100% healthy. Wade..while more experienced in the offense... has had some pretty serious injuries during his career. Loy getting the nod or being #2 behind Mc Donald wouldn't shock me at all

I'd go with Loy first....Jinks had no clue how to use him. Or anyone else for that matter.

My pure guess... Loeffler had to promise Wade x amount of starts, to get him to come here and get us out of our QB jam when Doege betrayed his team. Is that period over and Loy starts?

Rogue, you would know better than me, but it seems like the players on the team want Loy to get the nod at this point, no? I have gotten that sense from a few things on twitter and some other rumblings.

From what I've seen, Wade has the higher upside but seems to not be able to take full advantage. He looked promising but rusty his first game and has continued to look a bit rusty - and I understand that given the injury and his apparent retirement from football. Loy brings a ton of energy and even if he misses a throw he brings a strong running threat. And he seems to have improved some since game one.

And the x factor. Loy has been here longer to build relationships with the other players. He is not a "free agent" in a sense like Wade and McDonald.

I don’t think too many kids are pounding their shoe on the table for either guy, to be honest. That said, I have seen enough of Wade for now, and it’s definitely time to Give Loy a chance. At ND he put drives together and ate clock....I think he deserves his chances. Just keep them BOTH healthy...
