3 and out then repeated poor tackling. So much for that fumble return breathing life into us.

Offense is doing the defense no favors so far, though. With as thin as we are, it can't be easy to only get a few plays off. If your defense is on the field the whole game, they're going to be gassed.

Our offense is struggling. But, if we are being honest, they struggled quite a bit last week, too.

We'll always have last week. At least we aren't down 38-0 to Ball State at halftime.

Balls Tate could realistically win the West. I don't think that was on anyone's pre-season prediction.

That was a hell of a drive to open the second half. Nice job by Loy. Whatever the coaches did to adjust, it worked.

Wish we had some running backs to hand the ball to. I don’t want to see Loy get hurt. That’s something that won’t be an issue when Coach Loeffler has the chance to refill the roster.

CMU scores on a long run to go up 35-14.

This’ll be a loss, but I do feel better about the direction of the program.

I would have been surprised to see us come out with the same intensity as last week, but this performance is very disappointing. We were thoroughly dominated at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. No chance to win a game when you are manhandled in the trenches like that.
