Besides the 19-0 run we're playing pretty well. Frye and Turner are playing the type of game they need to for us to win but will need some help if we want to make this a game. Bench is shooting 0-8. Also need to limit offensive rebounds but I think most of us knew that would be a problem

Lead got cut to 5 before an LSU 8-0 run. Down 15 at the 8 minute timeout. Plowden scoreless, the bench 0-15, and Frye ice cold in the second half

This is a really good LSU team. Smart looks like an all American. BG not playing their best but still hanging around. Encouraging.

88-79 final. Most of the second half was between 8-13 points but BG couldn't make a breakthrough and LSU made their free throws in the last 5 minutes. Turner and Fields played very well. After a great first half Frye was bad in the second half and fouled out with 5 minutes to go. Plowden, Laster, and Sierra were really disappointing tonight. Mattos showed a few flashes in his final rotation after struggling most of the game, but I think Swingle will start by conference play. Diggs was ice cold until late before hitting a few big threes.

Agree with Matty not our best game but still a good sign we can find a way to hang around against a top 25 team. Our role players will have better days

Mattos like Wiggins plays pretty passively. However, also like Wiggins, when he's fired up, he does better. Even so, he ends up with 12 boards in 20 minutes. Hopefully with game experience and competition, Swingle, Mattos and/or Sierra will improve enough not to be a weakness.

Notice Huger went with a small quick lineup for the later minutes........6-6, 6-6, 6-4, 6-2, 6-1. Applied some pressure and got some results just not enough.

Ten years ago I thought we would see the likes of LSU coming to BG. Playing them at home is a game I think we could have won last night .The dream of bringing top level programs into the Stroh Center is something not talked about anymore. Man, fans sure were buzzing about it when it seemed a reality....

The announcers said this is the first Power 5 game we’ve played in Huger’s tenure. Before this year, a loss to us would have been terrible and a win would do nothing. This is the first year where we are considered good enough to put in their schedule. A loss to us is still a loss but could be seen as not a terrible loss. A win like they had last night can actually be seen as a small positive on their season resume.

The dream of paying these schools to come here is just around the corner. Until now, you couldn’t pay them enough to come here and possibly lose. Now, there may be a magic dollar amount to get those teams in the door.

We went to the small lineup against Findlay down the stretch as well. I can see Diggs finishing a lot of games for us this year despite not starting.

By virtue of completely missing the run that doomed us I thought we mostly played pretty well. Came home from dinner listening on the radio and by the time I got the stream working we had let off 19 straight points...ugh.

Mattos did a real nice job on the boards and we got some good things from swingle too.

Juice and Frye were what we expect. Fields was nice to have back, he definitely has more offensive game than he was allowed to showcase last year. We need more from Plowden though, he hasn't really seemed to get into the flow yet in any of the games yet this year.

I think we're going to see a lot of Doggs as the year goes on. Especially if Mattis K. cannot find his shot. I love our starting 3 guards but Diggs gives us an outside shooter with some size.

Where did you guys stream it? I may try to watch as I missed it.

What I love about the roster is that we have 3 guys who are the best scorers-Plowden, Frye and Turner but then there isn't another guy who if they put up 15 occasionally I would bat an eye. That's how good teams are built I think. If you told me that at some point in their career Swingle, Fields, Ziegler, Turner2 were the best player on the team I wouldn't be surprised at all.

If we can get one of Mattos-Swingle or Gadsen to be aggressive I think this is a great all around team.

I watched the same way I watch ESPN3. It was listed as SECN2 I believe. I think Fields and Diggs are there with Plowden as a possible 3rd scorer.
