I wonder if they would look at playing Wade as an emergency RB if needed? He seems to be a reasonably capable runner and as QB should know what the RBs are doing and be able to get by, at least with a limited playbook. Certainly not ideal but it's a much less than ideal situation we are in at that position right now.

IIRC in Josh Harris' freshman year he was back up QB but they were short on RB so he played the position for a game and rushed for over 100 yds. Of course, he was a better runner than Wade, but gotta do something if you don't have other options.

Certainly an intriguing idea, but probably not realistic. If he gets hurt, we have no scholarship backup QB for Loy.

Yeah, I'd say this would prevent this from ever happening. I think it's more likely they go with walk-on RBs, along with RB Marlow, in relief for Denley.

Wade is recently recovered from a serious injury. I don't think the best way to further rehabilitate is to get tackled or throw blocks on every play.

Wasn't aware of him having an injury. I guess that would put a damper on any thoughts of him playing RB.

So far between the two teams there are three completed passes. Problem is two are to the wrong team.

Offensive line has room for improvement. A power back, speed back, and running QB can make for an effective clock control offense.

Did anyone actually see Denley step out on that long run? I didn't see it, and the awful, awful, awful coverage by ESPN never showed it again.

I'm in disbelief over the no call on the facemask against Loy. And those two missed FGs were not pretty. Not sure if the cold has any impact.

Ugly football game. Miami seems to have this one in hand though.

Bowling Green isn't that far away from beating these guys. But we don't seem to be there yet.

BG isn't going to be there for a couple years. There's a lack of playmaking talent on offense and the lack of depth across the roster is going to make it tough to hang with teams for 60 minutes.

The offense can't finish their drives and Miami is. Yardage difference is only around 30. This should be a close game but it's not. Frustrating.

Wow, that fourth down play was hideous. There were three BG receivers converging in one corner of the end zone. No shot.

... and there went the close yardage because Miami just scored quickly.

This is a rebuild, no doubt. But I do think having Matt McDonald eligible would help on nights like this.
