38-3 in no time. Ugly game here. It went from manageable with finishing some drives to completely out of hand rather quickly.

BG isn't going to be there for a couple years. There's a lack of playmaking talent on offense and the lack of depth across the roster is going to make it tough to hang with teams for 60 minutes.
This is a rebuild, no doubt. But I do think having Matt McDonald eligible would help on nights like this.
I don't. There's hardly any talent at WR and the offensive line is no good. This program is nowhere close to having one player being a difference maker.

Hopefully the Kingston crew is forced to watch this outside in the cold.

TERRIBLE play calling and coaching. This has nothing to do with the talent on the field. The last series of the first half all run plays with a minute to go and not one pass play? Ball was at the 40 yard line! REALLY. He gave up on the kids!

How do you not use your time outs, look to bring a winning attitude. Not there with this coach. This has nothing to do with the players.

No. He realized it's a 34 point game, his QB has already thrown two picks, and his defense needs a blow.

You're expecting things this program simply cannot do right now.

NO EXCUSE!!!! Just bad coaching.. BGSU walked off the field at half time with their heads down. That is because the coach didn't do what a winning coach would have. TRY TO SCORE!!!!

John Gibson and Todd Walker were just making the same point about the WRs. Fair enough.

Yeah, the TV guys mentioned how when Loy was scrambling, the receivers were just standing around unsure of what to do. There’s just a long way to go in every skill position. I think the O-Line has some talent but it’s hard to block when the defense knows what you’re doing on basically every play. I’m just happy we beat Toledo. I don’t expect another win this year and that’s fine.
BG '10

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

I look at it this way - many of BGs starters would be 2nd on other team's depth charts, especially on offense. We know the situation at QB, and the injuries at RB, but elsewhere there just isn't a lot. Loeffler is going to have hit homeruns on the recruiting trail the next couple years to even get this program to be competitive within the conference. The bright spot is that there's young talent on defense, especially in the secondary.
