Had to choose tonight and stay home to watch the women play Michigan...and cuz I've seen us lose to the Zips so many times. BUT, BG leads 1-0 in the 78th min! Win and we play for the MAC title Sunday and an NCAA berth. BRING IT HOME FELLAS!

The Falcons played a really strong first half at Akron. They were sort of hanging on in the second half, but, even so: That was an impressive win. Nice to have the Zips out of the way for a change.

Tough loss there to a mediocre WVU squad.

Kinda like if the 1980 Miracle on Ice team lost to Finland in the finals after beating the Russians in the Semis. Not that Akron was even that good this year...but it’s a big letdown after the big semifinal win.

Weird goal, too. If Mwebia doesn't slip and fall down, they probably don't score there.

Tough to lose on a goal with less than 5 minutes left, but a great season regardless. At 13-7-1, with 2 wins against Big Ten teams and a win over Akron, we improved by 7 wins over last season and finished with our most wins since 2014.
