I appreciate the optimism but if it really is a hamstring, those things can end up lingering. Let's hope it isn't very bad and he can come back completely healed.Globetrotter wrote:If it's a hammie I think it's just rest. No Turner for 2 or 3 weeks might be a great thing for this team. It will force people to have to step up, just like tonight.Falconwriter wrote:Is there any word on how injured Turner is? I can't imagine this team doing much over a longer period of time without him. Tonight was fantastic, and I hope it continues...but we need Turner back and healthy.

He pulled a leg muscle (I would assume hamstring). Normally this is a week to week injury but I believe that was what he injured his freshman year. He had some complications recovering and it got far enough into the season where they decided redshirting was the best option for healing/eligibility
Re: Cincinnati
Big win tonight for BG. But I really hope Turner is okay. We found a way to win tonight without him, but bigger picture, if we want to get to where we want to go this year, we're going to need him. He's arguably the best player in the MAC and to not have him for any amount of time is a loss. Hopefully he just tweaked whatever he hurt and can come back soon.
GO BG!!!
