vs. Oakland (12/7)
Re: vs. Oakland (12/7)
Oakland misses a 3 and Plowden grabs a board. He passes it out to Laster who is fouled with 10.2 seconds left.
Laster to the line for 2... makes the first... and the 2nd.

Oakland gets a bucket as time expires, but BG survives and wins 68-65. That snaps our 5-game losing streak against Oakland.
We're 7-2 for the year! Go Falcons!

We didn’t have Turner and Frye didn’t score in the 2nd half, but we still won. That’s great for this program.

I believe they are getting better because Turner is out. Guys are stepping up big. When he returns I believe this team can really hit on all cylinders.

Re: vs. Oakland (12/7)
Typical BG fashion not nearly enough bobbleheads for everybody and they cannot make it only for kids (like seemingly every other sports giveaway promotion). End result is a bawling 4 year old and watching multiple people carrying out 4-5 of the things and not even willing to sell them.
So that said did anybody get an extra bobblehead that they'd be willing to part with tonight? My kid has every one since his birth

If I had one I'd give it to you unfortunately I don't arrive early enough these days.
The latest good idea I've seen on promotions is where you buy a ticket that guarantees the promotional item. Seems like a logical perk for season ticket holders with limited numbers available for kids as you mentioned. Keep your base loyal and work on the young fans loyalty to build the base.

I've said for years I don't know why they can't guarantee a promotional items like that for all season ticket holders. Not one per seat even, just one per family would be nice.
It's amazing how few perks we get as season ticket holders compared to UT, mud hens, etc...

Thought they had said ONE per person, no exception. How did some walk with 4-5?

That is almost as bad as the ticket mgr getting in a yelling match with a lady in a packed lobby before the game today!

They never opened up the ticket office on the north east side as they could not log in the computer.

I saw a family of 5 that was carrying 5 out. One kid couldn’t walk yet. Did they really need 5? I guess so.Class of 61 wrote:Thought they had said ONE per person, no exception. How did some walk with 4-5?
I personally didn’t want one so it didn’t matter to me, but I was shocked how quickly they ran out.
ROLL ALONG!!!
Re: vs. Oakland (12/7)
We had a family of 4 and each kid got one. We don’t need 2 so someone could have our extra that wanted one. I’m surprised they were so limited and they should have passed them out as you walked into the arena like in the past.

Nickm:
If you have 2 kids and they each got one I don't want to take them from them if they really want them. However if you do have an extra I'd gladly pay (within reason) for it. I also have an old Dan Dakich bobble that predates my son I'd trade if you'd like.
But seriously if your 2 kids are attached to them I'm not wanting to take from children. My frustration is far more with the people taking 4-5 for their family. As if the infants and adults needed them. Even if I wanted one my wife certainly didn't need one too! So frustrating.

I want mine...screw everyone else. After all...it is the Christmas season
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
