retired band uniforms - where do they go?

Post by bgbill »

I happened across old high school band uniforms that were made into throw pillows and sold as fund raisers for the high school's band. I thought they were interesting, 'cause they had lots of ornamentation (I'm sure there's a band term) across the front. So, I'm going to buy a couple.
Is this a common thing? It would make a nice collection.

Yes it is actually a very common thing, We did it with ours (Please pick your pre-ordered one up if you haven't already.) and sold them as a fundraiser. We also sold miscellaneous pieces and parts. If anyone wants a pair of drapes they are $15 for the set of two. I have about 100 sets. :)

Can you still order one of those pillows, or was it only open to current band members?

We have a very limited amount left, $75 per pillow. You can contact the band office for more info.
