BG facing off with Cleveland State (4-6) this afternoon. I'll be following along on ESPN+.

At the under-16 timeout in the first half, BG leads 6-4.

And just for inquiring minds, Justin Turner is still out of the lineup.

With 12:27 left in the first half, BG leads 16-8. Looks like we're playing hard and there's some energy in the building right now.

Dylan Frye playing hard today. He's really been a leader with Turner out. He just took a charge.

7:05 left in the first half, BG leads 25-14.

Since that bad loss at Cleveland State by 18 last season, BG men's basketball is 25-9. That was really the turning point in Huger's tenure here.

With 4 minutes left in the first half, it's BG 30, CSU 17.

Plowden with the half-hook early, the fast break slam and now this alley oop.

Dude is looking good out there.

And Frye is playing defense. It's obvious we have a scheme. When his man on the perimeter makes ANY move, Frye jumps to shut down the right. And Plowden teleports over to shut down everything else.

Cleveland takes a timeout with 13:16 left in the 2nd half, BG leads 58-34. This team is having fun.

Well, the announcers are at least MENTIONING Turner's injury.

Laster made a great defensive read to pick off a pass and go the other way. He's limping after being fouled, but he's fine to shoot his free throw so I assume it's not going to be an issue long-term.

FINAL: Falcons win, 72-58.

Got a little loose with the ball and effort to close, but a great win nonetheless. We're 8-2, best start through 10 games in a while, I'd imagine.
