As long as we don't finish 129th nationally and 12th in the MAC like last year, I'd call it progress.

According to 247, we currently have 25 commits of which 17 are 3 stars. Now you know how the star ranking system goes for fans. Star rankings matter the world when you are have a great recruiting class and they are meaningless when you have a poor recruiting class.

For me, star rankings just don't matter much regardless in the MAC for the simple reason that the services put less effort into players not landing major offers. What I see though that impresses me in the class is 25 commits to a clear building effort, mostly captains and mostly from good HS programs. If this recruiting class indeed is as good as sold, 25 new freshmen will be a great foundation for a major rebuild.

Myles Williamson just tweeted he'll be signing his NLI tomorrow with BG. He's not listed on 247 as a commit. DB out of Westerville, OH. Had an offer from Miami (OH) and interest from Ohio State and Toledo.

Weird that he's not listed as a commit on 247. I definitely remember his commitment being mentioned several months back.

Also, on Jordan Porter: great pickup on and off the field. I remember seeing a story about him wanting to work with people with developmental disabilities as a career (or something along those lines) back when he was offered by BG.
