Man, Swingle was a disaster out there.

Plowden is looking like a 1st team all MAC player.

Neither Swingle nor Mattos could catch the darn ball. And when they got it in their hands anyway, immediately brought it down to guard height and got it swiped.

Repeatedly.

On the bright side, this is the first time i have seen Sierra play and actually not look like crap. I know that's happened before, but every time I watch them, he's too weak and slow and unskilled to handle what's going on. IT was like a totally different player tonight.

And agreed on Plowden. If you can hit 3's, turnaround jumpers in a defender's face, and do that well enough to blow by people on the bounce - all while recording chase down blocks and switching onto perimeter players and bigs alike with no issue....

That's good stuff. Nice to see one of our "athletes" develop some skill. Reminds of me James Cerrisier (spelling?) from WAY back in the day, only he's actually developed game to go with his athleticism.

Agree on the two “bigs”, plus they still have a problem defensively, especially on smaller, quicker “bigs”
Here’s hoping we see BIG improvement in the next year.

Not for nothing, but Marlon Sierra has the second best offensive rating on the team. He's also tied for second in EFG%. At 4/8 on three-pointers and 14/18 on free throws, I'll take it.
