Our Falcons (11-5, 2-1) head to Kalamazoo to take on the Western Michigan Broncos (8-8, 1-2) on Tuesday night at 7:00pm on ESPN+. It would be nice to grab another road win and run this win streak to 3, but it won't be easy.

Let's get it, BG.

MAC basketball is pretty weak this year. If BG just competes on both ends they’ll be a top 4 finisher.

I would actually say MAC basketball is fairly strong this year and with a lot of parity. That parity will keep any team from running away with the title and therefore will probably prevent any team from getting a seed higher than 13.

The league is #12 in Ken Pom, one of 13 leagues to have a positive overall adjusted rating. And it's two spots ahead of the SoCon, which Gary Parish and Matt Norlander pimp every week on their pod.

Surprised Hawkins has not been fired. Last few years his teams have been very poor and don't seem to have anything this year.
This is a game we should win down the stretch. :supz:

Would love to see the trend of playing up/down to the competition end. Talent-wise, BG has the ability to win this game by 20 points. Hoping to see that tonight.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

This is on point. BG absolutely has the talent to win these kinds of games without struggling too much, but I realize parity is the name of the game in college basketball, and the MAC looks very balanced and strong, especially the East with BG, Akron and Kent. So come on guys, bring home another win!

MAC hoops is better this year than it has been in a looong time. It's also nice to see that there are no squads with abysmal kenpom or rpi rankings. Over the post several years, we'd see several teams south of 250 and even south of 300.

Unfortunately, nobody has been successful enough to be a potential at-large team. BG eliminated itself in the first loss in NJ. Every year, I note BGs effective at-large elimination date, which is the first liss that guarantees that we won't be an at-large team and can to NOTHING that could recover. This year's date was quite late compared to the usual November milestone.

BG is up 39-34 at halftime. Nothing really stood out to me that half.

Plowden is a really good basketball player, and I'm glad he's on our team.

Let's win the game.

BG is up 10 with about 12 minutes left.

The Flowers kid for WMU is a real player. Kid has something like 20 of their 54. He's the only thing keeping WMU in the game.

Our offense stalled and they suddenly have stormed back to tie it. 8 minutes left and we're in a fight.

Fouls are 9-2 in the 2nd half. We're really not getting a friendly whistle at all tonight.

Turner has 4 points tonight after 29 on Saturday. He needs to find the bottom of the net a few times to close.

BG is up 82-80 with 54.5 left. It's out ball out of the timeout. We need someone to step up here.

Marlon Sierra stepped up! He hit a layup and the ensuing free throw to put us up 5.

WMU responds with a quick layup.

We took a second to figure it out, but Turner broke the press.

To reset after a WMU timeout: BG leads 85-82 with 17.7 seconds left.

After a series of WMU fouls to actually have enough to start hacking, Marlon Sierra steps to the stripe.

He missed it.
