This rule may have changed, but it used to be that you could designate a certain number of recruits to the prior class, if you had not reached your limit in that prior class.Flipper wrote:What was the date on that Peters story?
I wonder if some of the guys that enrolled in January won't be counted backwards

Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
All of the signings are official. This is an awesome, and massive, class. I have to think there will be a few that drop off after the first couple of years because of playing time, but that means the best will rise to the top. Very excited about the late additions of Rosser and Roberts. I think they will both make a big impact.

I'm also very happy about this class. I feel like a lot of these guys can make an impact here.

Anyone know how BG signed 31 guys?
Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
They had seven enroll early and, from what I gathered, there is a way to manipulate the numbers to count some of those guys towards 2019. I also think there are a few that were PWOs.Tony4BG wrote:Anyone know how BG signed 31 guys?

Saw an additional PWO on Twitter today, by the way. Ja'von Lyons, a 6'2" 305 lbs OT from St. Clairsville, OH. First team all-state for Division IV. Looks to have a lot of strength and could shape up to a contributor with some polishing.

Walk on’s do not sign NLI’s. I do not profess to know the rules, but I suspect some of the kids that quit or transferred may have opened the extra spots, along with grey shirts or other rule allowances.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

31 kids the current coaches want...including two quality QB's...this is where the turn around truly begins

A huge class and, by all accounts I've seen, a very impressive class.
