He's still being tagged in a lot of the tweets from recruits who are receiving offers, so if he left, it must have been *very* recently.

I noticed his Twitter bio no longer shows BG info and location is Ypsi.

Looks official now. He's not on Coach roster.

Good eye. He was one of the few holdovers from the Jinks era, so perhaps Loeffler decided to fill the position himself for this upcoming season.

Important question now is who will they hire to replace him, my money is on ricky brown, former special teams coordinator and OLB coach at boston college, he is young and can relate to recruits, and has power 5 experience, and is currently unemployed which means he is an easy hire

You'd think youth would help in recruiting but the best recruiters on BG's staff (thus far) are the veterans.

Eric Lewis, DB coach at Boston College in 2019, was named to replace Hicks. I remember hearing about this guy when he coached in the MAC under Brady Hoke at Ball State. Great resume.

Interesting resume. Longest stint has been 3 seasons at Ball St. otherwise have been 1-2 years stops. Curious on why Addazio didn't take him to Colorado St?

His dad is Sherm Lewis.

Honestly this is a good hire in my opinion. Anyone with Power 5 experience as well as experience as a defensive coordinator is someone I want on staff.
