I don't ever have a good feeling when we play Akron. And they already boatraced us once.
We can never beat that freaking team...until we run off a couple years of being competitive/winning against them, I'll always enter games against the Zips expecting us to lose.
They've got some real good backcourt scorers, and Groce is one of the best MAC coaches in the past 15 years. We've got our work cut out, for sure.

I feel the same way. It doesn’t matter the year, players, coaches or arena, when you’ve lost to a team 29 out of 32 times, how can you expect anything different. Tonight’s a huge game and you know for a fact that Akron will be prepared and will give itself a chance to win. That’s always the case when BG and Akron meet. The question always boils down to, will BG rise to Akron’s level and do the same. Well, 91% of the time, then answer has been no. Does that change tonight, on our home floor, or does Akron extend BG’s misery to 30 of the last 34?
