Re: @ Miami (2/29)
Again this is the worst 20 win team I’ve ever seen. Far more likely to lose to whatever team they play first than win the tournament. No energy yet again. No offensive changes. And Nike Sibande is clearly far better than Justin Turner.
Re: @ Miami (2/29)
That was one of the most pathetic efforts I've seen from a BG team since it was expected and routine during the Orr years. Please crank up the urgency and get Mattos out of the starting lineup, and get the best players on the court. Terrible starts game after game. It's March.

Re: @ Miami (2/29)
Don’t understand the obsession with playing Fields so much if he isn’t defending with how limited he can be offensively. Would have rather had Frye/zeigler or gone bigger with Mattis if sibande was going to get to the rack regardless.
Tough L but had all the makings of a trap game, as somewhat alluded to earlier in this thread. Onward.

We scored 2 points in the last 10 minutes. Can’t win like that.
We’ll rebound. Couple of big ones left.

Re: @ Miami (2/29)
Boil this game down to the 1st 2 or 3 minutes. Mattos taking 2 non-sensible 3 pointers helped Miami open up a 12-2 lead. He has no business taking any 3 pt attempts ... he’s been watching too much Luke Knapke.
Re: @ Miami (2/29)
Mattis plays 5 minutes. How? Why?

Re: @ Miami (2/29)
The scary part is the only thing that took Mattos off the court was foul trouble. He would have kept playing if not for that.

I’m trying to find the points for v points against for this team. I bet despite the wins it’s pretty close. I think we’re stuck with this style of play for years. If you think any other coach is fearful of being outschemed by us I think your nuts.

Should be no more talk of turner leaving early

Turner is 7 of 32 over the last three games. 21.8 percent.

Because he was getting abused and also picking up foulsguest44 wrote:Mattis plays 5 minutes. How? Why?
GO BG!!!
Re: @ Miami (2/29)
None whatsoever. Further, there are a couple handful of other guys in the MAC who have passed him by and are also balling out having nothing like these kind of games he's been having.gspointer wrote:Should be no more talk of turner leaving early

Re: @ Miami (2/29)
Worst stretch I have seen from him, and about as bad of a stretch for any starter that I can think of.Globetrotter wrote:Turner is 7 of 32 over the last three games. 21.8 percent.

Re: @ Miami (2/29)
It was closer to 11 minutes AND we were also in the bonus. TWO measly points in more than half of the entire second half. What a joke. And yet, somehow Huger will explain our inability to score on our defense. Which yes, was also bad, but he continues to baffle all who listen with how our shooting of bricks is directly related to our defense.mbenecke wrote:We scored 2 points in the last 10 minutes. .
