Miller has been placed on IR. He's been in and out of the lineup all year with a hamstring injury. The hamstring kept him out of most of the preseason, it crept up again in Week 13 after/during the Atlanta game and kept him out of the game against the Jags and Colts. He was cleared to play against Detroit, scored his touchdown, and then went out of the game after re-aggravating it. With only two games left in the season, it was time to shut him down and get another receiver on the roster (Evans and Godwin are also out).

Talk about hitting the jackpot, Miller will now be catching passes from none other than Tom Brady. Brady has succeeded greatly with speedy slot receivers before.

I was thinking about that this morning, too. If he can stick on the roster, I think Miller's name could become a lot more familiar with Brady's style.
