Possible #9 seed

Heard on radio and also on TV that BG could now drop to #9 seed.

Western loses and Miami loses. BSU now tied with us. If Akron beats Buffalo they win the MAC East. And if Kent wins over OU Kent has a better record than us.

BSU and BG would fight for the #8 seed. BSU would own the tie breaker and we would be the #9 seed.

All we needed was to win, on Senior night, and we couldnt do that.

WBGU radio said BG has not locked up a home game. TV said the same thing. But the other radio network said BG is at home. I dont think people were expecting Western and Miami to both lose. I still think we can drop to #9

If we get a home game, I'll take it. But with what we had to do today, win at home against one of the worst teams in the MAC to "earn" a home game, we only have ourselves to blame if we don't get one. To be honest, I'm not sure it will matter anyway.....if we keep playing the way we have in our last two home games, we'll be knocked out of the MAC Tournament no matter who we play or where we play them. This loss to CMU probably cost us an NIT bid too. It's a sad, sad day in BG men's hoops.
