BG beats Northeatern 14-2 in first game in Florida

Great start Falcons....let's keep it up. That's three consecutive wins and BG is now 3-1 this season with UConn up next in Florida on Sunday.

I believe 9 different players collected hits in this romp! Good to see the bats coming alive. Since getting shut out 8-0 in the season opener at Murray State, BG has scored 31 runs in the last 3 games. Factman prolly had a blast watching this one.

Two of three with Murray State was real solid, but Northeastern doesn't exactly strike fear into the hearts of NCAA baseball players. That's one most MAC teams should win. If we get a win over either UCONN or Indiana on this trip, you gotta believe this team is gonna be a big time contender in the MAC. Then again, they had a nice win over BC in FLA last year and ended up going into the tank. Either way, great start to the season!! Maybe OSU is ducking us by backing out.

FYI...Dan Dakich played first base for Indiana his Sophomore year. Most of you knew that I'm sure, I saw it in the BG Basketball media guide.
