The MAC Football Schedule for this fall is being released at 3:00pm today, according to the MAC's twitter.

Looking forward to seeing it. Really excited for this team's opportunity to improve each week.

Nick Piotrowicz of the Blade is reporting that our season will indeed begin on November 4th at the Glass Bowl.

The rumor I heard was correct then.

If we can't close the season against Toledo, I guess closing the season against Miami is nice.

I can see one possible win on this schedule - the game vs Akron. I predict a 1-5 record.

1-5 was my thought as well. Possibly 2-4 with a win over UT. I don't see us beating the upper four of the east. Too big of a gap between. The season is mostly just a scrimmage so it will be good practice for the young players no matter how it plays out.

Regardless of record, I'm just looking for improvement. And I expect that to come - McDonald and Clair together (throwing to Morris, too) could be a game-changer for us, as keeping the offense on the field allows the defense more of a breather so they aren't gassed by the 2nd half like last year. I think we have some talented pieces on both sides of the ball, I just hope we're able to get things moving forward a little bit.

Really need the offensive line to keep McDonald upright and intact - excited for the potential with Keller/Melton, but not for a little while.

No expectations from me. It's a young team on the OL and at WR. Defense will be a question mark as it always is. IMO it's an excellent opportunity to spread the wealth as far as playing time and use it as an extended camp to evaluate what you have.

An additional positive with this staff is they will coach to the personnel and not force Falcon Fast to result in 3 and outs to gas our defense.

I look forward to seeing Kinsey at WR. He has BIG time MAC playmaker potential.
