They beat us by 42 last year and won a bowl game. This isn't a surprise. I'd honestly expected it to be a wider spread.

Who all got fan cutouts for the game? My daughter and I got them. It will be her first BG football game, in a matter of speaking.

Given the limited number of games and how the team looked, if they can't beat Akron, I am not sure I see a win on this schedule. I don't think they beat Kent even with the game at home. Let's face it, home field advantage isn't that great given limited fans this year.

Back when we had a 12 game season planned I thought 4-8 was reasonable. Wins over Akron and RMU, two other wins. Now that it is 6 games, I say 2-4. A win over Akron, and an upset over someone else. Not sure who. The upper four in the east are way ahead of us and Akron but I bet somehow there will be a win by virtue of a really good team effort like last year vs UT.

We got four cutouts! Hoping to see them on the broadcast or by someone on the ground posting a pic of them- got a couple little boys that will get a kick out of seeing themselves!

It's Akron or bust. We really don't stand a chance against anyone else on the schedule as the rest of the East is far better than we are.

This short week was entirely too short. I hate that I used to look forward to game day but instead I'm actually dreading it right now.

Re; the cutouts... Joyce and I have ours. Put my #61 brown jersey on so hopefully we’ll be able to catch a glimpse. \:D/

I REALLY wanted to go to this game!! I know its an hour from kickingoff, but I'm 35 minutes away.

Any options available?? THANKS!!

(P.S. my other thread has turned into a Wuhan-CoronaVirus argument)

Kent State is currently on a five game win streak. That includes a bowl win over Utah State. That is impressive.

I don't believe there is any way for a walk in fan to attend. Wish I had better to report especially given it would be your first game.

We're missing RB Andrew Clair and DE Karl Brooks tonight. Big, big losses.

Riley Keller is now the backup QB.

Nothing sums up BG Athletics like live stats not working for the home opener
