Western Carolina has us in their site now also and espn is how i discovered app st. I guess the team will be spending a week in the Carolinas. Don't see anything about still playing west Virginia like we were suppose to.
Super excited to play Michigan! Wish I could go but hopefully we get to play the game and it's not canceled

Would you possibly be able to link this one, Globe? Can’t imagine they will let fans attend but i am there if they do, assuming it’s @ WVU. And assuming single game tickets are sold. And assuming it’s late enough that i don’t have to leave work early if it’s a mid week game.
If every single thing goes right and falls into place, I will be there.
Still can't find the stuff Floyd found. Sounds interesting.

Fair enough, I’m not an Instagram guy either (wasn’t even entirely sure you meant Instagram when you said IG). Looks like that post was from April. Still, wouldn’t be shocked if it still happened! Seems like it makes sense proximity wise.

The West Virginia game was jettisoned when the season was shortened and pushed back. The same with the Georgia game. Of course, if teams don't get to the 13 game mark as the NCAA Tournament approaches, who knows what games get thrown together.BPardonMyTake wrote:Globetrotter wrote:New to instagram.....And there is no way I was right. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_IJdj0lU4i/" target="_blankBPardonMyTake wrote:Globetrotter wrote:An IG report has us playing West Virginia as well.

It was a "story" from the team's account. Not sure if you can go back and access those once they air. Not a lot of info, just a few stills with the teams, final score, and saying Swingle had 18.Globetrotter wrote:New to instagram.....And there is no way I was right. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_IJdj0lU4i/" target="_blankBPardonMyTake wrote:Globetrotter wrote:An IG report has us playing West Virginia as well.

Re: OOC schedule and scrimmage
We've added a home game vs. Wright State on Sunday, December 13th.
This is a really nice get - 20+ wins in 7 of the past 8 seasons, an NCAA tournament appearance in 2018, and 2 consecutive Horizon League regular season titles since then.

Watching Swingle against Loudon Love will be a great measuring stick for his progression and ability.mbenecke wrote:We've added a home game vs. Wright State on Sunday, December 13th.

Damn, I've moved to Charleston in the last year and would have loved to attend if we were playing at SC State. I will say it feels like night and day the difference between life in Ohio and in South Carolina with the Covid restrictions

Re: OOC schedule and scrimmage
I’ve always wondered how other states are doing things. Because we watch the Toledo news, I get info on Ohio and Michigan, but I have no idea how most other states are handling COVID.Bgsu2016 wrote:Damn, I've moved to Charleston in the last year and would have loved to attend if we were playing at SC State. ROLL ALONG!!!
Re: OOC schedule and scrimmage
My quick tips to know how other states are handling are to check out their government COVID pages for either restrictions vs. advise. Tennessee "advises" that people wear masks and stay home, but only Nashville actively has mask rules that can result in citation. Northern states do a lot more restricting (which I think is good, but that's not my point here). And to know how a state is doing, ignore national news positive test numbers and check on hospitalizations, ICU beds, ventilators and deaths. Those are the real measuring sticks for how a state is doing. Mostly available through CDC and state government sites, too. Mid-2019 was a hell of a time to transition into working at an academic research medical center...footballguy51 wrote:I’ve always wondered how other states are doing things. RE: Basketball: I really hope that there is a point in time that we can watch sports in person this season, because I'd love to watch this team play. I think they have some really special talent. If it's safe by March/April to see the conference tourney, I might have to book a flight to Cleveland.

Completely different. My father is here for the Holidays (we both work from home and he drove) and could not believe it. There are no occupancy restrictions on dining and bars are regularly packed. Last call has been moved up to 11 PM but it's just about wide open in these parts.footballguy51 wrote:I’ve always wondered how other states are doing things. Luckily outdoor dining is more popular anyways here and that is what I always do.
