Relax...and let the Madness begin!!!

Post by ZiggyZoomba »

Yesterday was ugly... REALLY ugly. I BELIEVE it was our third senior-day loss in a row too. As ugly as it was though, it's over. Tomorrow we play a MAC tournament game. We have 17 wins... Most of us predicted about 10 less than that this season.

We're playing Ball State at home tomorrow. I've got a feeling we're going to blow them away and head to the Gund.

CMU is over.. it didn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things. (thank God!!)

Let the madness begin!!!

You know I'll be out there early and being loud. I'm hoping I'll also have to make a trip or two to Cleveland in the next couple days :)

I'm playing in the band with Metz as usual. You had all better make your way down there and say hello to us if you go! I'll be the hot girl with the tenor sax! ;)

I understand what you're saying, G, but had BG won, would we have received a first round bye? Ohio, Akron and WMU all lost. Turdledo got a 1st round bye!!

But you're right. I thought we'd win 10 games, maybe 12 at the most, this season. It has been a successful and exciting season.

Get hot, win 4 in a row and go to the DANCE!

Anyone gonna be in the chat tomorrow night? I won't be able to make it to the Gund this year unless it's the title game.

It has been very tough for me to miss the last two home games of the season, so for selfish reasons I am kind of "glad" we eneded up getting the home tourney game on Monday night. . .

As for the game, will my I.D. get me in or do I need to buy a ticket ? I couldn't find it listed on the bgsufalcons.com release. ..

Nope. Western losing to Ball State screwed us in every way. The Toledo won to get the Western div first round bye sending Western into the pool of 11-7 teams. That gave us an extra two losses in that group. I don't want to go through the specifics, but I think we probably wouldn't have done better than the five seed. But then again, anything higher would have gotten us one of the four bottom feeders instead of BSU. Of course we just lost to a bottom feeder so who knows what could happen. :?

The worst part to me, Warthog, was everyone at Anderson cheering when they were announcing the scoore. I couldn't figure out if I was missing something or what. But no, it just appeared that many people didn't know what we wanted to root for. Ball State winning that game really sucked for us.
