Not sure the thought process behind a lineup where plowden is guarding the biggest guy on the floor but that stretch just killed us

Michigan up 25-14. We can't buy a bucket - we look like a team that didn't have an exhibition and is playing a ranked Big Ten team on the road to start the season.
I'm not shocked by this.

These refs are awful but we don’t stand a chance against that size unless we can start making half court threes.
Re: @ #25 Michigan (11/25)
It definitely hurt, but it's not like we had anything we could do. With Swingle in foul trouble and Kula out, the only other "tall" option was Washington.BPardonMyTake wrote:Not sure the thought process behind a lineup where plowden is guarding the biggest guy on the floor but that stretch just killed us

Re: @ #25 Michigan (11/25)
So far, Love Metheny, glad he is starting.
This offensive system doesn't work. Too 3 heavy, too many early shots and guys not truly open and no one down to rebound. Works if shots go in, otherwise it's terrible.
Cam Young-Washington both look like they belong.

When we aren’t playing Michigan this team will look pretty good.
Re: @ #25 Michigan (11/25)
Under 4, Michigan leads 34-31. BG is fighting back HARD and I love it.
Fields with a tough fall-away jumper, Turner with a crafty and-one look, and Metheny jumped a pass and took it back for a layup. We might have a game.

Could really use another big in this game, sadly we have 12 scholarship players again.

Re: @ #25 Michigan (11/25)
I think coming out of the timeout there was some adjustment but they tend to fall back into the bad habit of not running an offense. The worst thing that happens is when one of the quick 3's goes down and then the offensive movement goes away.Globetrotter wrote: This offensive system doesn't work. Overall they are staying with Mich so I'm happy
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Juice with a really nice move that tickles the twine and the announcers are saying, "he looks like a Big Ten player."
Michigan calls timeout, leading 38-33 with 2:21 left in the first half.
