Re: Purging
Commitment is there in the younger groups, and it does get derailed from time to time spirit wise by seeing what they see from the older group; As much as that pains Guest44 .....a few knuckleheads are/had been playing, only because they had to, to field a team. Sometimes, you can’t just stick a young guy out there....
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Rogue... Loeffler doesn’t believe this information should have been leaked. Do you agree?

Are you trying to trap me in a sophisticated ruse? I didn’t give names or actual numbers. My purpose was to point out the reality that there are still some misfits on the team, for those who think everything should be back at championship level by now. Since you have shown you can’t handle the truth, I will PM those that can, moving forward.guest44 wrote:Rogue... Loeffler doesn’t believe this information should have been leaked. Do you agree?

I appreciate the insight you provide as a parent insider. I'm not sure if Loeffler could have avoided it being leaked anyway. If Massey and IJM were healthy scratches, we'd be pretty certain of why, right?roguewarrior wrote:Are you trying to trap me in a sophisticated ruse? I didn’t give names or actual numbers. Loeffler is saying that to show he has the backs of his players. It's the media's job to report on matters like this. Scot knows that. It would have broken out anyways with kids being healthy scratches.drumstix2388 wrote:I appreciate the insight you provide as a parent insider. I and I believe most of us appreciated the peek behind the curtain. It keeps those in charge honest. Keep up the work, rogue.

I wouldn't be so sure that someone from BG didn't purposely leak that information. There could be several reasons for doing it, not the least of which is to send a message to the rest of the team and to potential recruits. With privacy laws being what they are, a university can't just throw the names of players out there with personal information. There is probably method behind the madness.

I think leak is the wrong word, maybe. They have to announce it, as embarrassing or delicate the situation may be. 80 players know, likely their parents. coaches, spouses, admin staff, trainers, GA,s. A trip to the portal, social media, and missing guys on game days..... how can you not address it publicly without risking later backlash? Removing guys from program that play is a big deal.Falconwriter wrote:I wouldn't be so sure that someone from BG didn't purposely leak that information. Agree with all this. This would have been hard to keep bottled up given the visibility of the players who have been named. And I do appreciate Rogue's insights on the program, and hope he keeps offering them here.drumstix2388 wrote:I appreciate the insight you provide as a parent insider. Re: Purging
Unsurprisingly, Rodell Rahmaan has entered the transfer portal. The other three seem to remain on the roster. Rahmaan had limited playing time, especially after picking up 3 or 4 personal fouls in the first couple of games.
