Wel that didn’t last long. Dop gets beat cleanly over the glove shoulder on a turnover.

Feels like we can't go more than a minute playing 5 on 5 either way.

RMU gets one back while we're 4 on 4. Puck deflected off Justin Wells' stick and went high on Dop.

6 minutes left in the 2nd, BG leads 4-3.

Well, it's apparently the 2nd intermission.

BG leads SOG 28-10, and the Falcons are ahead 4-3 on the scoreboard. Gotta battle and hang onto this one to go home with a W.

After killing our 7th penalty of the night, BG still leads 4-3 with 11:00 left in the third.

Weird empty net goal. The announcers and RMU team seem to believe it hit off the ceiling, but there was no camera angle to overturn it, so it counts.

Justin Wells, welcome to the stat sheet.

Falcons lead 6-3 with 32 seconds left.

FINAL: BGSU 6, Robert Morris 3

Falcons win the final 56 minutes by a score of 6-1 to move to 3-0 on the year. Short week, we'll be back Saturday with a home game against Mercyhurst.

The game started like BG hadn't taken a check in 9 months. Being the first competitive game* since March, they obviously weren't ready for the physical aspect tonight. Once they got that out of their system, they played pretty well. I'm not sure the 5 minutes major was really warranted. Two definitely, but the 5 was weak. Quite a few of the penalties were head scratchers, so I can see where it came from. Little disappointed with the play in net, otherwise, the game wasn't even close. Few things to improve on, few things going right. Only way to improve things is to play more games.
