vs. Purdue University Northwest (12/3)
vs. Purdue University Northwest (12/3)
In a late addition to the schedule, our Falcons will be hosting Purdue University Northwest on Thursday, December 3 at 7:00pm inside the Stroh Center. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
From my quick research, it appears they are a D2 school, and they haven’t played yet this season, so I would assume this is a quick tuneup game so we don’t have a week-long layoff before hosting Buffalo on Sunday.
If they’re going to keep score, we might as well win it. Go Falcons!

This will be one of my favorite games I think. Lots of PT for Chandler T, Fulcher, Zeigler and Young.
Re: vs. Purdue University Northwest (12/3)
The story about the game on their website lists the game as an exhibition game for them. I assume that means it’s an exhibition game for BG as well?
Re: vs. Purdue University Northwest (12/3)
It's entirely possible, though our own website doesn't have it listed as an exhibition.BG816 wrote:The story about the game on their website lists the game as an exhibition game for them. I assume that means it’s an exhibition game for BG as well?

Same starting 5. Looking forward to a clean contest that helps us keep working towards the goal of getting better and winning the MAC this year. Hoping to see some role players get some more minutes tonight.

Swingle has a nice baseline ability when it comes to shooting touch around the rim. I like his ability to finish inside.

After a DEEP (NBA range plus) three from Metheny, BG leads 13-9 at the U-16.

Trey Diggs remains a flame-thrower. My word.
What's a good recent player comparison for Washington? I feel like he's a slightly more athletic version of Jeff Uju.

With 6:54 left in the first half, BG leads 34-23.

Zeigler can feel like he's pressing sometimes. I think he'll be so much more comfortable out there if he let the game come to him instead of forcing things. Really a talented player with a ton of potential, just needs to slow down sometimes.

Ugh. We got lazy for a few minutes and PNW battled back. It's now a 34-33 BG lead with 3:58 to go until halftime.

That was a ridiculous run. Huger teams always play to their competition.

More passes like that, fewer lazy easily blocked layups please.
