We’re playing against Ken Dryden this weekend.

Edit: And this guy was behind Bitzer.
2-time BGSU Intramural Curling Champion.

Wright nets one, and BG leads 3-1 with 12 minutes left in the third. Feels like a big one.

Falcons win, 3-1.

4-1 on the year now. On to a non-conference series with Ferris.

This season is his senior year. Mercyhurst will be top 3rd of Atlantic this season, as long as he stays healthy. He won't have to buy a beer this year.

Thoughts on the PP sans Rauhauser?

It's hit or miss, so far. I'll give them a little while longer until I can really judge it. Ask again during conference play.

Good movement and possession against the teams faced. Rauhauser had the ability to take a step into the circle and bury a wrister, almost at will. That became a focus for other teams, which made room for the forwards down low. Don't have that threat right now, so the teams are able to focus on covering the forwards. Need to develop a threat at the point. Theocharidis seems to be getting there. It could be Cullen as well (having two threats would be amazing), if he can simple it down a little bit. There's a lot of times he tries to get a little more fancy than necessary.

I definitely agree with pdt's Cullen assessment - he's a pretty talented offensive forward, but it feels like he dances a lot. If he could settle in and simplify his game a bit, he'd be in really good shape.

Theo's 2 goals were nice yesterday. That's the type of thing I thought we were getting when he first arrived on campus. It has taken him a bit to find his footing, but he's becoming a pretty nice piece for us on the blue line.

Watched yesterdays game live and then went back and watched Saturday's game last night.

I thought we payed a good road game yesterday and pretty much controlled the game the entire time. Johnson kept the score closer than it should have been.

Saturday I thought the effort was good from the mid-point of the 1st period on. Johnson just stole that game......it happens a few times a season, a goaltender beats you. That's just hockey........
