Miami
The game is cancelled. Bowling Green finishes the season 0-5.
Re: Miami
Tough season, but not surprising that we ended up impacted by it. Feels like it was only a matter of time - Miami and Ohio both only played 3 games this season.
Time to finish up this recruiting class and move forward. Really important offseason ahead of us - praying there's a way that the guys can get spring ball this year.
Next year's non-conference schedule includes @ Tennessee and @ Minnesota, with home games against South Alabama and Murray State. We'll host Toledo, Ohio, and Akron, and we'll go to Kent, Buffalo, and Miami. There will also be 2 more MAC games, though I'm not sure how the rotation with the West works, so I guess we'll see who that ends up being.
There's an opportunity to get better and take a step towards being more competitive this offseason. I really hope the young guys take up the challenge and help us take that first step.

According to Nick P. from The Blade, workouts will begin in January. Hopefully there's spring ball this year and the program can start headed in the right direction.mbenecke wrote:Tough season, but not surprising that we ended up impacted by it. Good. I despise MiAudi and don’t relish losing to the RedHawks (nee: politically incorrect mascot.)

The 2020 season is over. Time to prep for 2021.
Good press conference from Dave Clawson 10 years ago at the same scenario. I referenced this one recently in regard to Loeffler's press conference when he was on edge. Lots of good points Clawson made about how bad a hand he was dealt and how he was approaching going forward. Loeffler should watch this one before his end of year press conference.

I am most certain you are not holding Phil Villapiano responsible for this year’s play. I thought we best clear the air on that one before someone starts investigating his parking tickets in an effort to dust up his reputationzete wrote:....haven't played well since Phil Villapiano was in the locker room... Maybe they should get Kit Hughes to provide the pre-game speech for the opener next season.FalconTurf wrote:I am most certain you are not holding Phil Villapiano responsible for this year’s play.
