Hypothetical on Coach Brandon

Post by Germainfitch1 »

I just wnat to throw this out there because I think we should always have a guy ready to take the reigns. Brandon was perfect after Urban but whom after BRandon?

OK....What if the Colorado job suddenly came open and they wanted Brandon and Brandon went. Who on our roster is prepared to take the position and who on the outside would we contact?

My guess would be Coach Stud. I would be surprised if we did not promote from within if (when) Brandon leaves.

Yes I believe it would be Coach Stud as well!!! The guy bleeds orange and brown :D

Coach Stud could retire as BG's coach!

Can we shelve this discussion until the end of next season?

Gladly....I hope Brandon stays around for another 20 years....I'm just saying I see Coach Stud leading the team sooner than later.

Well, we spent a fair amount of time on this territory, particularly in the wake of all the coach movement toward the end of last season. There's no real chance of Brandon leaving until near the end of this coming season. So to answer "Why?" I'd say relevance.

There are still many intriguing questions to be answered before we tee it up in the fall - who will our starting DBs be? Who replaces Suisham? Who fills the very big shoes left by our graduating offensive linemen? Who will step up on the D-line?

Exactly 87. Germain(e), if you so interested in this question, try reading the extensive discussion that took place back in December. You'll find a lot of people answered this question, plus you'll likely get a good feel that many of the people here believe Studrawa is a logical and good choice to succeed Brandon if he decides to leave.

Why do that when you can save yourself the time and start a new thread?

87 is right, what is the point of talking about this right now. I am more concerned about the upcoming season than what is going happen after it.

If you are so uninterested in the topic just ignore it and allow those that are interested to discuss it. This topic would have fallen from the top had you not replied with "why is this topic coming up now?"

People here get way too prickly about repeat threads.

It's good to point out past threads -- but that sarcasm that goes along with that sometimes rubs me the wrong way.

Not sure if you're referring to my post or not, but there was no sarcasm in my post. I simply wanted to point out a thread that prodigiously discussed Germain's question that had occurred about the approximate time Germainefitch joined the forum. I thought it was likely that he missed the topic and equally likely that he did not use the search button, since very few people ever seem too. If he is so interested in his profane question, then I simply suggest he do a little research and read what everyone had to say the first time this came up..

Image This would have been sarcastic, I was trying to be helpful.

I'm not referring to any post in particular.
