Exciting 3rd period with lots of grade A chances. 6-2 winner.

Only thing I can think of is it went off the shaft of his stick. I tried slowing down the YouTube video, but you can't take see where it hit. If it's of the blade, definitely high stick as it's always above his shoulders.TommyG wrote:Luckily for BG he was away from the net. If he’s closer it’s an easier call for them and it probably gets waved off.
He did have a very nice tip tonight. Fyten is showing some promise on following up to the net. Good to see the freshman starting to contribute.

Falcons won again on Saturday night, 6-2, to push their record to 6-1. Goals came from Wright (x2), Johnson, Barber, Ford, and Fyten.
We outshot Ferris by an 80-46 margin for the weekend. Love to see that type of dominating performance, and we need to keep it rolling.
Huge matchup with #11 Quinnipiac on the road next week.

I hope we can get the Q series in.

Definitely need to play the QPac series. Need some type of matchup against a decent opponent. Haven’t seen a legit top 30 team yet.

Any news on when Malmstrom might make his first appearance? I thought he cleared his 4 game SHL eligibility issues.

Harrison James, radio broadcaster for Ferris, started up a website, puckchops.com, in which he includes his dining experiences while on road trips with the team. https://www.puckchops.com/post/broadcas ... -of-my-gig
While in BG, he visited Pollyeyes:

It will be interesting to read what he finds on the road. Some of us have our favorite places to eat when we follow our BG teams.
