Rough game so far. Shooting 2/15 from three, Fleming is trying to do way too much (fourteen shots in the first half) and some pretty bad fouls. 41-31 NIU at the half.

Went down by 15 early in the third, but Fleming has turned it on and they have it down to six points midway through the third. 50-44 NIU.

Spoke too soon. NIU playing terrific defense and slopping passing/ball handling by the Falcons. There have also been some awfully questionable foul calls against Hampton and Trice. Hanging in there but they need a really strong 4Q to pull this one out. 58-50 NIU after 3.

We're within striking distance. If we play a really strong quarter, we could steal this one.

78-71 NIU final. Falcons just could not buy a 3pt, going 4-29, including 2-13 from 3 for Lexie Fleming. She had 26 points but it was probably one of her worse games from an efficiency perspective. Can’t win em all! Still having a great year.

This is a game that we should have gone inside to Perry and Glowniak more. They combined for 13 points in 24 minutes of play. Plus BG got killed on the boards particularly with Brett being out. Kenzie Lewis is a hustler but today she was way out of sync turning the ball over 5 times and fouling out.
