They all had solid nights. Cam Young looked awesome yesterday.

Game 2 starts now.

I won’t be around to give updates (at least in the first half) but I hope this one goes well. Have to follow Tuesday’s effort with another good performance.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

We need to box out better but we're playing very well early besides that. Why is their floor so scuffed and dirty? Looks terrible

Falcons up 44-29 at the half.

Juice with 16 and Metheny with 11 to the lead the way for us.

FINAL: Falcons win, 93-65!

BG moves to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in the MAC on the season. Great start - but we aren't here for early January glory.

On to the next. Beat Ball State!

We controlled this game start to finish. There was no doubt about the outcome after like 5 minutes in. We are beating MAC teams the way we used to beat DII teams.

I was just reading that Draymond Green says that Wiseman gets too hard on himself and takes himself out of the game. Said "Look at me, I just played one of the worst games of my career. But I still made some plays down the stretch to help the team. You have to earn to forget."

Cam Young has that now. He got limited time early, and had as many mistakes as good plays. And never stopped playing the game. Down the stretch, he was picking up blocks on darn near hopeless plays, assists on overthrown outlet passes, some points..... He'd screw up, and nothing about his body language or effort would change at all.

And it seems like the whole team does that. Love this attitude - and I think it's time I credit Huger. Individuals can do this on their own. Entire teams don't learn to forget the mistakes and keep playing with poise and energy without that coming from the top.

With tonight’s win, Coach Huger just went over .500 in MAC play for his career, at 48-47. That stat was surprising to me.

He’s 3 wins away from hitting 100 on his career here, and he’d be the 7th coach in school history to reach that milestone.

Others:
Harold Anderson 367
Jim Larranaga 170
Dan Dakich 156
Paul Landis 156
John Weinert 146
Louis Orr 101

Louis Orr proves that getting 100 wins at a place is not actually anything to hang your hat on.

it's coming back to me. He lost 120 and should have been gone after 5 years, instead of the 7.
