Is it my imagination or has a large double digit lead late in game get down to singles even later? Haven’t been able to see them play live ,,which is why I’m asking.

There may be some offensive issues that need to work themselves out as the freshman mature, but thankfully there has been great defense overall, which has negated any potential issues. Fleming was also on the bench for awhile because of foul trouble. She finished with 10 pts. Brett and Parker led scoring with 13 pts a piece.

Up to 10 wins on the season and 6 conference wins. For perspective, that is more conference wins than the last two seasons combined, and already matches their win total from last year in game 13 than they had all of last season (31 games).

After being picked to finish 11th, they're in second place with 40% of the MAC schedule done. I'll take it!
Re: 1/20 Akron
I am so glad to see our Falcons being more competitive this season, as it appears the MAC skeptics got it wrong. I’m very happy for Coach Fralick and the team for this win, but from my perspective, it was one of the sloppier games they played. I’m very pleased the defense stepped it up this year immensely, but I think our biggest weakness is defending the weak side three point shot, where typically, our opponents get wide open looks behind the arc with no defender within ten feet. Otherwise, it looks great. It was mentioned that we have some things to iron out offensively. The strong points are the rebounding by Brett and Lewis, and the steals and scoring by Fleming. What bothers me most are the turnovers, mainly bad passes, traveling calls, and offensive fouls, and many of these are committed by our upper classmen. I’ve also noticed our underclassmen make more of their layups than the older players. Also, I would love to see Lewis contribute more in the scoring column, as I see good potential for her to put more points on the board, which would be a huge plus if other scorers had a bad shooting night. Would like to see Perry get more minutes, and kudos to Parker for her great perimeter shooting. Probably some here believe I’m being hard on the team and critiquing them, but I’m just sharing what I’m seeing. Great coach, very good team! Let’s keep rolling along! Go Falcons!
