END OF 1: The game is tied, 1-1. We really didn't do a whole lot until the Kruse goal, but I'm happy to be even through 20.

Bemidji led shots, 14-8.

END OF 2:

We remain tied at 1. Win the third, win the game - it’s that simple.

Bemidji goes ahead with 41 seconds left. Weird bounce, and Dop never saw it. What a fluke.

Bemidji wins Game 1, 2-1.

We didn’t deserve to win that one. We were outshot by about 15, and we didn’t have a spark out there at all tonight.

What an awful night, between this and basketball. Gut wrenching. I won’t even want to get out of bed tomorrow morning. Disgusted.

Bounce back tomorrow.

END OF ONE: Bemidji leads, 1-0.

Beavers got a totally avoidable goal with about 50 seconds left. Malmstrom took his eyes off the puck, it went right past him at the blue line, and it led to a breakaway.

This team is having a hard time closing periods and doing anything at all offensively right now.

END OF TWO: Tied at 1.

We’re in the same spot as last night - win the period, win the game.

It's a little awkward to watch when he forgets he's a forward for this game. Regardless of position, he's one of the best on the forecheck.

Someone was completely out of position on the kill, and a homerun pass for Bemidji leads to a goal.

Well 3 thing from the 2 at BSU games:

1) We have no answer for their 2 man forecheck with the 1-2 trap behind it. They killed us with it in all 4 games actually. Anyone who wants to beat BG just watch Bemidji. We just play wack-a-puck against it....

2) Powerplay is dismal. Should be much better with the upperclassman we put out there.

3) BSU just wanted the games more....we were out worked all over the ice both games.

Oh well....at least they didn't count as league games :prayer:

Bemidji adds an empty netter and we’ve been swept.

We need to figure something out offensively. Dop played 2 really strong games this weekend and he’ll take 2 losses because we can’t score more than once a game.

Seems like every year this happens. Team gets ranked in the top ten in December/January, then proceeds to play some pretty bad hockey and lose to an inferior opponent, at least on paper. Bemidji always gives them fits. I agree their system really chokes off BG from playing their speed game.

Team needs to right the ship with Tech visiting next weekend.

The good news is that Sam Craggs and Gavin Gould are both expected to return to the lineup next weekend.

The camera was out of position on that goal as well. There was no definitive onside/offside from replay.

Those two would have helped. Bemidji seemed to like throwing the high elbowing whenever they got the chance.
