BG's Director of Football Ops, Derek Miller, has taken a job at East Carolina.

So that job is now open on staff here at BG, after Miller had replaced Olivia Passy, who had taken a scouting job with the Miami Dolphins, before the season.

There's some talk of Lance Leipold leaving Buffalo to take the Kansas job. That would certainly lead to a shakeup within the MAC - he's a darn good coach.

I've also seen Ball State's Mike Neu, Toledo's Jason Candle, and Kent State's Sean Lewis floated as other MAC guys who could be in the mix.

Leipold should not touch the Kansas job with a forty foot pole. That place is a coaching graveyard. If he's smart he will wait out for Ferentz to retire at Iowa. The guy is a coaching legend in that region for his work at UWW.

Yeah the Kansas gig is a bad move. Players are going to be jumping ship with Miles being gone.

I've also seen Sean Lewis and Jason Candle mentioned. No way Candle goes there unless they throw an entire bank at him. He has much better opportunities coming his way. Sean Lewis I could see. Good recruiter, exciting play style, young guy who might jump at the $3 million salary.
