Quinton Morris

Post by Class of 61 »

Anyone hear / or see how he’s doing at Sr. Bowl? I saw some practice sessions, but didn’t see TEs , which Is where I’m assuming they are looking at him .

I had heard he struggled early on, but I did see a clip of him absolutely torching a linebacker from Houston on a nice move, though he was overthrown by Texas A&M's Kellen Mond.

I'll throw some clips below:

I saw some chatter that he had a VERY rough first day, but rebounded and was decent in the 2nd day of practices.

It's actually a pretty big selling point for a prospect if they can show steady improvement through senior bowl week. It shows coachability.

Hopefully he's turning some heads, I'll be anxious to hear his athletic testing numbers from BG's pro day. For a MAC level prospect those results can always move a guy up or down a round or two as well. It's no real surprise that of all our productive WRs over the years Miller has been the one to show the most NFL production, he's also a legit NFL athlete. (it also doesn't hurt playing with the GOAT at QB)

Thanks for those videos... interesting to see as I’d missed the TEs. Tomorrow’s the big day for him... and others of course.

RATS! Just saw that game is on NFL network, which I don’t get! Guess my football “ fix” will have to wait for Super Bowl and watch a former Falcon do his thing.

I have watched off and on and haven’t seen him in the game. Has he been in, hurt?

I caught the last few minutes of the first half and no Morris sighting. Perhaps in the second half. He's on the "American team" - white jerseys.

Saw video of Q catching pass downfield, hurdling tackler, picking up about 20 yds after catch. Also saw pic of him covered by OSU LB as he was diving for ball.
So he definitely got some quality PT.

He ended the game with 3 catches for 52 yards. Pretty solid outing. Hoping for the best for him!

NICE! The catch where he hurdled the tackler was pretty impressive. But sometimes TEs are expected to get the quick looks in traffic. So I didn’t see the other catches. Also how well he blocked is gonna be critical if he’s to be drafted.
