Well, a great first quarter gives BG a 25-7 lead.

This team beat us at the Stroh. It's crazy to see how much better we are now than we were then.

Halftime, BG is up 42-25. We're giving NIU the business, and I'm here for it.

Finish the job, Falcons!

NIU outscored us by 12 in the third quarter and now we're in a fight in the 4th quarter, leading just 57-52.

Gonna be a battle to hold onto this one on the road.

FINAL: NIU 79, BG 78

This is a tough pill to swallow, especially after leading by 17 at the half, but I have faith that they will learn from this and be better for it. This is a well-coached team.

Well that sucks. 1pts loss, wish they hadn’t lobbed the ball right there at the end.

2 losses this yr. to same team. Bad matchup personnel wise? But a 17 pt lead almost never result in loss.
Reminds me of the men’s game vs N. I’ll. Couple of yrs ago. Huge halftime lead, almost lost game.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

I'm hoping this is just part of the growth process for a very young team and a (still young & learning) head coach. These kinds of losses can affect the confidence of teams, if it's not handed properly. I have confidence that our coach will handle it just fine.
