BG will lose, once again.

We're going to fall to 6-7 in the MAC. Sub-.500, Unreal.

And another loss. Best players both miss front end of 1&1 free throws. Turner followed his up with a solid quick 3 attempt.

Wasted possessions, another loss.

I'm ready for covid to cancel the season

All you need to know is that Juice and Pliwden both missed front ends of 1 and 1 and Diggs a layup in the last minute of the game..........three SENIoRS!

At this point, I wish we could opt out of playing the rest of the year to avoid having to watch them lose another 5 or 6 games...

It’s that bad. I’d rather not play than see what the rest of this season turns into. I’m not a “Fire the coach!” type of guy, but it’s clear that something is majorly wrong with the program right now.

Maybe KenPom had it right the previous two seasons. Bowling Green was lucky. They weren’t well coached. They won a lot of close games. Since the contract extension BGSU replaced Wiggins with Swingle. 0pts 2 rebounds tonight. Even after Mattos left it wasn’t a priority. It’s like Huger expected the season to be cancelled.

BG loses at home again. Kent's best guard wasn't even in the lineup.

The silver lining for me was the play of Chandler Turner. If swingle starts again our coach should be fired at the first timeout.

How about this for a starting lineup?

Ya it’s maybe the best chance to win. They will be dominated at the rim regardless, so they might as well just try to out shoot everyone.

No, he just simply loves Swingle. He’s sees what no one else sees in him. And the results are what follows.

All those guys had changes in the closing moments, and none of them could score. You can add looks from three by Turner and Diggs to that too. Huger talked about how this team thought too much of them selves a few weeks ago, like they were better than a lot of teams. Reading the preseason headlines and predictions, etc. Now they have the exact opposite look, like they have no confidence at all.

Dylan Frye quit the team the day before a home game vs Toledo with Bowling Green in position to win the MAC. Anthony Stacey leaves to become a head coach in high school. The person who replaces Frye after he quits, quits less than a year later. The preseason MAC favorite is 6-7 in the MAC. Nothing to see here. Huger hasn’t had to answer for any of it. Just a raise and extension.

What's fun about this team?

The offense is a total mess. We don't believe in the coaching at all.
There are glaring weaknesses in ball movement and rebounding that we ALL saw coming but the coaches didn't.
Beyond that all, what frustrates me the most is that the people who cover the team don't try at all. We don't get any stories about why the offense is bad. Why we don't have a good rebounder. Why we didn't try to fill out our roster in this crazy year where there were essentially free agents. We get nothing. Huger is boring, the people who cover the team are boring, there isn't anything from this team that brings any joy. The roster is actually pretty talented but they are never put in position to succeed.

I have been saying Chandler Turner needs to see more minutes for over a year. When the fans are smarter than the coaches you have a huge problem.

Just embarrassing...there is zero excuse for this program to not be top 4 in the conference 3 out of every 4 years. I never thought Huger was going to out-coach anyone, but I thought the last few years we had some talent that played hard. The team is definitely not competing the way they did in 18-19 and 19-20.

It’s too bad the last coach didn’t have the alcohol issues because he would’ve had a good run and probably gotten the team to the NCAA tournament.

I’ll keep saying it...Moosbrugger is the guy that needs to be held responsible. You put all your resources in a handful of sports you can’t have them bottoming out. Hockey is an outlier and most of their success the last few years can be connected to a weak schedule. I think you need a new AD to come in and get ready to make changes when these football and basketball contracts run out.

Caleb Fields has scored like 15 total points since the Buffalo game where Huger was visibly upset with him trash talking Buffalo after BG won. They have lost every game since.
